I am a builder at heart. My default mindset is “I can build that”. I love to design, develop, learn, and build. I have converted my garage to a workshop and can be found there most nights after my kids are in bed.
I have enjoyed art for as long as I can remember. I focused that passion into creating a rave-style art gallery that pulled together a wide range of artists to show in a one-night-only setting utilizing the unfinished space of the downtown high-rises in Atlanta. Over the course of 5 years, it grew to an average attendance of 300 – 500 hundred people before closing it down to focus on family and careers.
Motorcycles are a passion. I love to imagine the possibilities of how an existing bike could be changed, modified, or improved to make something unique and special. Riding a motorcycle has become a lot less desirable with a family, but I still enjoy owning and building them.
I have enjoyed building things that my kids can interact with. My favorite has to be the soapbox derby cars I built with my kids to race in the Madison Avenue Soapbox Derby. They have helped me all along the way, and we always have a great time at the race.
